Do you like to play video games? I do, and I play for free. How, you might ask. Well, if you watch TV at all, I know that you have seen the commercials for it. Gametap is where I get to play free video games. They have a wide variety of old arcade and old console games for free. To play these games all you have to do is download their player, install it, and play till you’re cross-eyed if you want. They also have newer games, but you’ll actually have to pay for those. The free games are worth it though. I have had a lot of fun playing the games from my childhood, and I know that you will too.

So I have been avoiding this post because video games are not as important as real life. Money will always be the number one subject of the blogs that I post. If you are looking for a MMORPG, however, World of Warcraft is the game that I recommend.
MMORPG stands for Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game. These are games that you play on the Internet with thousands if not millions of other people. Currently there are ten million people playing World of Warcraft otherwise known as WoW. This game has my vote because it is a beautiful world, it is very extensive with many places to explore, and it has emersive gameplay. WoW is the best game I have ever played on any system. I will post blogs as I find issues that concern me or that I think need looking at in regards to this game.

Video games have come a long way since Atari. I went over to my neighbors house a few days ago and sitting there, underneath a large HDTV was the holy of all hollies, the PlayStation3. Now, I like the XBOX360, it is an amazing machine, but I have been a PlayStation fan since the first CD console came out. When these new 3rd generation machines hit the market they were so expensive my mind just shut down and blanked them out of reality. I believe that this was in the hope that it would not take long for this new technology to come down in price.
When they first came out the PlayStation3 was $599 for the ultimate package with eighty gig hard drive, Blue Ray capability, and a wireless controller that is motion sensitive. The XBOX360 elite package came with a hundred and twenty gig hard drive, free three month XBOX live subscription, controller, headset, and two video games for $499. Since then, both companies, have only come down in price once. Microsoft has dropped their price by $50 dollars. Sony has gone down by $100. This leaves their prices at $499 for the PlayStation3 and $449 for the XBOX360. These are not the price cuts that I was hoping for a year and a half later. I guess I will have to wait until Christmas to buy one which is when the next price drop will probably take place.
