Pay less for groceries.

Published by under Business,Money,News,Uncategorized

I ran across a video this morning that gave some good advice on how to spend less money at the grocery store. In this video they show you a method that can save you up to 50% off of your total purchase.

It seems like it is a pretty simple method that every grocery store will honor. This method includes coupons and a thing called price matching. I highly recomend everyone to check this video out http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/indexFP.php?rn=3906861&cl=9401754&ch=4226713

Ever “Googled” Yourself?

Well, I have found a site that has made it easier than ever. PeekYou.com is an advanced people search engine designed to put you into contact with old classmates, co-workers, or friends that you haven’t seen in a while. All you have to do is go to their page, and fill out the fields for first and last name. If you know any of your friend’s handles online they have a search filed for that too. On the left side of the screen they have a drop-down area that can help you refine your search by where they live and you don’t even have to navigate away from the screen. So try it, go “PeekYou” yourself!

For Your Next Home Project

Published by under Business,Money,News,Technology

My mom and dad are always doing something to improve their home. My dad owns his own business, he designs mosaics, lays tile, and installs granite counter-tops. You need heavy-duty equipment in his line of work and he says the 12v autoselect  Cordless drill is the perfect tool for the job. He uses this drill around the house to complete those side projects that mom is always asking him to do. Gosh mom, how many pictures can a man hang in a day!

Seriously though, this drill has many attributes that make it a cut above other 12v powered Cordless drill. For one thing, it has autoselect technology for drilling into wood, metal, masonry, or concrete. This is perfect for my dad because he never know what type of material he will be working with. It also has hamering action that makes it easier to drill into masonry and concrete. It has a single sleeve metal keyless chuck that make changing bits simple and less time consuming. Another great thing about this drill is that it has a batteey level indicator that lets you know how much battery life you have at all times.

I will definately consisder buying this drill for my next home project. My dad uses it and if it is good enough for his home and his business it is good enough for me.

What Card Is Right For You?

Published by under Business,Money

I have never owned a credit card, I have never been impressed with the credit system in America. I have however realized that if I want to buy a house or a new car that credit is something that I will have to have. This is where Cardhub.com comes in handy.

This is a web site that has compiled all the information that VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Credit Cards has to offer the consumer. They give you a nifty search engine that allows you to choose the type of card, the rewards, and annual fee. This site is easy to use and provides all of the important information to help you make a decision as to what VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Credit Cards is right for you. I recommend this site to anyone that wants to build their credit without going into debt.

Nice Blinds!

Published by under Business,Entertainment,Money

My mom has some very nice blinds in her home. They are wooden with a dark stain that really gos with the natural look of her home. She has ten windows in the particular room in question and it was very expensive to outfit them all with blinds. She recently called me and asked if I could find some nice inexpensive blinds to replace one set that had broken. I told her that it might be hard to find those exact blinds at a different price, but I would try.

The next day I find selectblinds.com. I watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition and thought why not check out the guys that they use. So I go to the web site and the first thing that I gravitate to is the distressed wood blinds for my mom, and what do you know they have the ones she wanted for less than what she paid for the original blinds. “But why stop there,” I thought to myself, “I like the blinds in my apartment, but why not throw some color on those white walls!” So now I am saving up for some Aluminum Mini Blinds to put up in my apartment.
